Description

This easy Grilled Cheese Burrito is a Taco Bell copycat loaded with seasoned beef, creamy sauces, rice, and melty cheese, all wrapped in a toasty cheese-crusted tortilla.

Ingredients

Filling:

1 lb ground beef

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup cooked white rice

½ cup sour cream

½ cup nacho cheese sauce

¼ cup chipotle sauce

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella, shredded

4 large tortillas

Grilled Cheese Exterior:

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar/Mexican blend)

Butter or oil

Instructions

1. Cook Beef: Brown beef, drain fat. Add taco seasoning + ¼ cup water. Simmer 5 mins.

2. Warm Tortillas: Heat tortillas to soften.

3. Assemble Burritos: Layer rice, beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, sour cream, and shredded cheese. Roll tightly.

4. Grill: In skillet, add shredded cheese, place burrito seam-side down. Grill both sides until cheese melts and crisps.

Notes

Use a nonstick skillet or griddle for the crispiest cheese crust. Customize fillings with beans or jalapeños for extra flavor.
