Description
Cottage Cheese Cauliflower Tots are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with protein thanks to cottage cheese, Parmesan, and perfectly seasoned cauliflower baked until golden.
Ingredients
1 head cauliflower (steamed and mashed)
1 cup cottage cheese
1 egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (Panko for extra crisp)
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Steam cauliflower and mash it well.
3. Mix mashed cauliflower with cottage cheese, egg, seasonings, and green onions.
4. Add breadcrumbs gradually until the mixture holds shape.
5. Form into tots and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
6. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy.
Notes
For extra crispiness, lightly spray the tots with oil before baking and flip halfway through. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
