Quick & Easy Korean Ground Beef Bowl is a fast takeout-style dinner made with savory-sweet ground beef, garlic, ginger, and soy sauce served over fluffy rice. This beef bowl is perfect for busy weeknights when you want bold flavor in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

3 tbsp brown sugar

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

2 cups cooked rice

Green onions (optional)

Sesame seeds (optional)

Shredded carrots (optional)

Sliced cucumbers (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat and drain excess fat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Serve hot over cooked rice and top with optional garnishes.
